Showers Showers Showers! March 30, 2013.

My incredible mom and sisters (they're actually my sister in laws, but i love them so much, just as if they were my own sisters), put together the best shower for us and Baby Tuck. It was themed for the "Mom and Dad to Bee" and for the soon arrival of our SWEET BABY BOY!! Almost all of the decorations were hand-made by Rebecca, (except for the adorable burlap bumble bee, which my mom found at hobby lobby. Everything looked absolutely, theme-fitting perfect!!!  :)

Too cute!! I just love that big bee :)

Pinwheels made out of pencils and scrapbook paper, held together by a needle/pin with a little bumble bee accent.

Rebecca made the most delicious donut holes, and built this bee hive with them, using toothpicks! I LOVED it, especially the cute little bumble bees. And I can't say it enough, the homemade donut holes were amazing!!

To go along with the bee-themed shower, my Aunt Ellen (my mom's sister) provided honey which they collected from their own bee hives, for all of our guests. Their honey is SO GOOD too, so we were thrilled to bring some home with us. Rebecca made the tags with Tuck's monogrammed initials, in great anticipation and excitement for our VERY sweet baby boy to bee.

More pinwheels and honey to decorate the mantle. Such a classy but fun touch. Becca is quite talented as you can see. She also monogrammed these onesies, and made the sweetest little bibs for Tuck. I just love them!!

Collin had this cake made for our shower! It not only is incredibly decorated, and so perfect with the little cupcakes for the kiddos, but it tastes JUST like wedding cake! We saved the top section of the cake to use for Tuck's first bday party, maybe. We'll see how well it saves in the freezer.

Gerber daisies are such a great accent to anything bumble bee. They made such a vibrant splash of color! Mom also made some pictures of us on her farm. The grass was green, trees blooming so beautifully; made the perfect backdrop.

It was the most gorgeous day! We had a huge Easter egg hunt for all of the kids. I have lots of videos, but not a single picture of them :( It was precious watching the little ones find their eggs in the bushes and throw them (or at least attempt to throw them) in their baskets. The older kids had a blast also, making it a competition obviously, of who could find the most.

My wonderful sisters, Rebecca (left) and Collin (right). Love you both so very much. We're so thankful for all of the time, money, thought, preparation, and love you put into making this day so wonderful.

We were blessed over and over again by our family's generous giving and love, which was clearly poured all over us and baby Tuck. We couldn't have asked for anything better. God truly has blessed us with the most amazing families, both Todds and my own. This is something we can easily take for granted. So we make every effort to share how much we love them and are thankful for them every time we talk with them or see them.

Philippians 1:3 "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you."
