Thanksgiving Day, November 2011

Every year, since it's inaugural race (three years now), Todd and I have run the Hot to Trot 5k on Thanksgiving morning. It's one of our most favorite traditions, plus we get to enjoy a few more guiltless indulgences throughout the day.
Another new and favorite tradition: I get to prepare and bring the turkey for Thanksgiving Day lunch with Todd's parents and my mom. I LOVE making the turkey, and basting him every 30 minutes to make sure he is juicy and tender. I do not love removing his "innards" AT ALL. I squeal the entire time, even if someone else is pulling them out. YUCKY! This is Travis Turkey. He was VERY good =)
