Week Four with Tuck. May 2013.

Each week seems to be a little more fun and exciting. I imagine that's just how it will be, which makes me look forward to each day even more! This past week has been packed full! Here'a a fun look at all we did!! Enjoy!

First, we made an overnight trip to NC to visit my brother Evan, his wife Rebecca, and their adorable little guy James.

James loves his daddy.

He wasn't so sure about baby Tuck though. He was a little distant and quiet, just observing from the security of dad's side.

We all piled in the truck for the baseball game. Western Carolina vs our alma mater, Tennessee Tech. Typical Evan in this picture....rarely takes a serious photo!

It was FREEZING!! We bundled up in our jackets, and wished so badly we had brought blankets, mittens, and hot coffee!!

I've said it before, but Western Carolina has the most beautiful campus, nestled right in the valley of the mountains and national parks. Gorgeous! You can see the rain and storms coming!!

James was not affected at all by the cold wind and weather. He was all over the place...and so stinkin cute!!

He did NOT want to be held under his blanket. No ma'am!  It took lots of effort on his mommy's part to keep that blanket around his little arms and legs.

Uncle Todd helped him focus on the game, which only lasted a few seconds.

...but long enough for me to capture this GREAT picture!!

It's not easy timing the picture taking of a toddler....gotta practice now before Tuck is the exact same way!! I love this one though =)

....and this one....please notice his entire ARM is down in the puffs container. Love him.

Tucker was oblivious to the wind and cold. "tucked' ever so snuggly in his carseat, with blankets, and his carseat canopy over him. What in the world would be do without that canopy...it's a must also for you new and expecting moms. Keeps the sun, rain, wind, cold, and pesky lookers away!

It started misting rain a little bit, so Uncle Todd let James wear his rain jacket. It was HILARIOUS!! He was NOT a fan of it at all!

After talking with the players and coaches in the duggout, Coach Barr came to join us. See?? Can't be serious and give a sister a smile!

We never make a trip to see Evan and his famly without a SOLID workout. Rebecca and I walked 3.5miles in the Ramsey Center, while Evan and Todd hit the weights hard. We had lunch in the cafeteria (complimentary!!), then made the trip back home.

I have to say, Tucker was the BEST baby the entire time. He stayed right on schedule with his feedings, and sleep schedule. Also, first trip taking cloth diapers along...couldn't have gone any better. So thankful once again for cloth diapering!!

That night, we had a delicous dinner from Aubrey's brought by Emily!! We had a great visit, although it seemed to go by way too fast. Tuck loved Emily too. Thank you so much for the yummy meal and visit!!

We tried out the Moby wrap, but neither mommy nor daddy are a fan. WAY too much fabric to deal with, and WAY too hot. Tuck was cute and content, so we'll just have to find another wrap for our little guy.

Nap times are my favorite.

Right next to Tummy Time, which I also just love....

Tuck isn't as big a fan, but he's just too cute not to photograph, right???

He does really well for about 2 minutes, then he tires out.

Love love love my little man.

My sweet sweet friend Kathy came for a visit with her little guy, Brady. She brought Chickfila, which as you know, I'm a HUGE fan!! I JUST had Chickfila the day before... (forgot to take a picture of sweet Brooke and baby Ella Jane...we loved our visit with you all as well, and can't wait for our park date next week!!).

This is Brady, he's a big little guy. 18 weeks old, and cute as they come. He was quite a bit heavier than my little Tuck. Gotta hit the weights!!

Yep, quite a bit bigger than Tuck. Haha! These two will be great friends!! Can't wait for more play dates, Brady and Kathy!

The very next day, my mom and I went to babies r us, and of course, we stopped for lunch at Chickfila beforehand. The new Cobb salad is simply delicious!! New favorite (since they took away my beloved southwest chargrilled chicken salad). Even more excited for the Chickfila in fountain city to open!!

I had my 4-week follow up appointment, and Tuck completely stole the show. Well, that makes me proud too. Afterall, he is quite the handsome little man. I just love him in red!! It's one of my favorite colors on him.

We took our moms to Tupelo Honey Cafe for lunch to celebrate mother's day. After a 1hr10min wait, we were finally seated and enjoyed a wonderful meal.

Our good friends, Josh and Holly came for dinner, and loved all over my sweet little man. He was content as could be...for a little while anyways....

Josh was a little nervous I think, but he did great. Especially since he held a fussy Tuck, who got a little upset waiting for us while we warmed his bottle. Understandably so....this is in fact a growing boy, right??

Todd was the head chef for the evening. He chargrilled burgers for us....

...then warmed the apple pie brought by Josh and Holly. How you might ask? Well, he used a meat thermometer to monitor the temperature of the pie in the oven!!! Hilarious! Here, he announces the pie is finally the perfect temperature for partaking. I love how much he made us laugh that night! We were in stitches!!

We finished the evening and week out with some snuggle time on the couch with daddy. I absolutely could watch these two snuggle every second of every day! So blessed to have already had 4 wonderfulw weeks with our baby Tuck. Motherhood seems to be getting better and better every second.
