7/21/16. Julie girl, you are growing faster than we can keep up with this time around... the days and nights are LONG but the months are completely vanishing before our eyes...
7/25/16...as much as I love seeing those big brown eyes, I also could just sit and stare at you while you are sleeping all day long...
7/27/16...and I won't even begin to talk about how quickly YEARS are passing now with this one. He is my first little love, and will always be mama's boy. Tonight we got all dressed up for Grandad's induction into the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame...
...and what a very special night this was. We are so very proud of you, Grandad, and we LOVE LOVE LOVE you and Mimi so much. We are also more than thankful for Daddy, and that he now has such perfect freedom and ability, not to mention PASSION to carry on the legacy you are creating in the world of Martial Arts, as well as in his new journey with Krav Maga (..more to come soon on his story, and it is a GOOD one!!).
We are also so glad Mamaw was able to join us, and Uncle Andy came too!! We represent three generations of stubborn, honest, hard-headed, silly, confident, determined, love-with-all-our-heart, give-with-all-we-have, Jesus-loving Barr-genes forever generations... and I couldn't be more thankful for these two and the incredible impact they have BOTH made on me...
7/29/16...sweet baby girl is still pretty petite, despite hitting the 8lb club not long ago... so we struggle finding her when she wears these giant hairbows =) but goodness, I love that she is starting to fill out a little more!!! ...and this was one of the softest outfits ever in the world!! So snuggly, my favorite!
7/31/16...more sleeping pics because I can't handle the cuteness that she is!!!
8/1/16...kinda sorta learning to sit up in her bumbo seat!!!
8/3/16: I truly just feel like a have new little best friend...
8/4/16: three months old today, and the sweetest baby girl I've ever known...
8/6/16: another quick visit to Mamaw's for more tractor rides ;)
8/9/16: ...and we love lunch dates with daddy to Chick-Fil-A!!! Time is the greatest gift, and we are making the most of all the time we have together.
8/10/16: ...sweet Julie girl... it's hard to grasp that we only have 18 summers at home with our little ones, and this is already almost the end of your very first summer!!! I'm so thankful for this time with you, and have no doubt the best is yet to come.
...just can't get enough snuggles with her!!! I know she won't always be little ane petite as she is now, so these moments are HAPPENIN like crazy around here!!!
...and have I mentioned that every day with a daughter is like playing dress-up with your baby dolls all over again!!! We love COLOR and we love polka dots!!! and her little legs... everything about her!!
...and to top this post off with icing on the cake... hearing your sweet big brother say things like: "MomMEE!!! I wanna hold her, and tickle her just a little bit..." He is in absolute HEAVEN with his baby "julie" nd we often say to ourselves and even to him, We are not promised tomorrow. Cherish every moment. Tuck is 3 years old, and she is 3 months old, and we are BLESSED. BEYOND. MEASURE.
